All our staff have CRB Enhanced Clearance, childcare qualifications, and child protection training, 2 members of staff have health and safety training, 2 members of staff have health and hygiene certificates, and Manager and Play Leader have paediatric first aid.

Responsibility for the day-to-day running of the sessions falls on the Manager, the welfare and education of the children falls on the Play Leader who is the Manager's Deputy.
 
During sessions, the staff to child ratio is at least 1:8 for the over 3’s and 1:4 for the under 3’s.

The maximum number of children per session is 24.

Mrs. Jacqueline Fuller, Certificate in Playgroup Practice (NCFE)
Mrs. Lisa Brazier, has NVQ level 2, and Montessori teaching
Mrs. Kelly Russell, has NVQ level 2, and NVQ level 3.

Each member of staff undertake regular training to update their skills.

  child in the Playgroup environment, bring new skills or ideas and
  to spend time interacting with the children.

  The Playgroup is run by a committee made up of enthusiastic
  parents. Involvement in this and all fundraising activities is vital to
  help the Playgroup run smoothly and successfully.
